See where the spirit of Christmas lives year-round.
Founded in 1953, North Pole is filled with holiday activities and cheer year-round. Guests will enjoy the Christmas ambiance as soon as they enter, surrounded by candy cane light poles and themed street names such as Santa Claus Lane, Snowman Lane, Holiday Road, Saint Nicholas Drive, and North Star Drive. The Santa Claus House attraction is open all year long, so you can pose with Saint Nick and ensure that you get exactly what you want for Christmas. You can even get to know some of his infamous reindeer while you're here.
Their annual Winter Festival is a great way to kick off your holiday celebrations if you are brave enough to endure the frigid weather. These celebrations include a candle lighting ceremony, fireworks, and lighting the community tree in December. You can also see the “Christmas in Ice” ice carving festival, where artists create incredible sculptures for visitors to enjoy. If you are lucky, you may even see some northern lights. North Pole, Alaska, no matter your age, can get you in the holiday spirit.
