Go Wandering is a site where anyone to create their own U.S. road trip itineraries. Whether you like to explore the outdoors or have a bucket list vacation in mind, Go Wandering can help make your dream a reality.

You can also read articles, see shared itineraries, and search for places to visit throughout the United States on our site.

Simply click this link to make an account. All you need is an email, or you can log in using Facebook or Google.

Begin by signing in, then click ‘Plan A Trip’ at the very top. You can also access the trip planning tool here.

It is best to at least have a general idea of when you want to leave for your trip, how long you want it to be, and where you want to go. You can select either a round trip or one-way route depending on your needs.

Whether you click the option to make an “automagic” route or simply start from scratch, you can always make adjustments to your custom road trip itinerary. For example, you can change the number of driving miles per day, and add or delete stops. With our trip planner at your disposal, the options are limitless.

You can see your route, edit stops, and make to do lists by selecting their respective tabs. Additionally, you can add places to visit, make rest or fuel stops, write notes, and view current weather conditions within the ‘STOPS’ section. We also give you the option to book nearby lodging via Vrbo or even rent an RV if you so choose.
