Meander through the forest and enjoy this multi-level Oregon waterfall.
Sweet Creek Falls is located in western Oregon, about 10 miles from US Highway 126. This gorgeous waterfall features four different tiers. The uppermost level cascades just 10 feet, then drops to 30 feet, 15 feet, and 15 feet, making it appear as if it is multiple waterfalls. This is a family-friendly hiking area that has wooden bridges and damp dirt trails, so hikers can easily find their way.
Begin at the very first trailhead (Homestead) and continue following the Sweet Creek, Wagon Road, and Beaver Creek Falls trails to get the most out of the experience. Please note that there is no fee to park and hike at Sweet Creek Falls and leashed dogs are allowed on the trail. A vault toilet restroom is located at the Homestead Trail, but other than that, there are no amenities. Be prepared with snacks and water and remember to leave no trace.
