Pick fresh fruit at this Vermont orchard.
The Scott Farm Orchard is located in southeastern Vermont, and it has been a working farm since 1791. This place is where many New England families come for apple picking in the fall. This orchard grows over 130 varieties of Heirloom apples, unique cider apples, plus pears, plums, cherries, grapes, quince, peaches, and various berries. Vermont's Scott Farm Orchard is listed on the national register of historic places and encompasses over 550 acres of farmland. The oldest remaining buildings you will find date back to the mid-1800s. Naulakha, Rudyard Kipling's home, lies just south of the farm.
A majority of the harvesting season occurs from June through mid-October at the Scott Orchard Farm. Along with picking your own fruit, guests can participate in crepe nights at the farm. Their crepe nights occur between July and October, usually on the second Wednesday of each month from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. If you love fresh produce, visit the Scott Farm Orchard in Dummerston, Vermont.
