The VINS Nature Center is located off US Highway 4 in eastern Vermont. VINS stands for Vermont Institute of Natural Science, and its origins date back to 1970, when a water cleanup project for the Ottauquechee River began. This nature center has been open to the public since 2004. VINS serves as a rehabilitation center for injured birds of prey, a songbird aviary, and educational hub for anyone wanting to learn how to protect the environment.
