VINS Nature Center

The VINS Nature Center is located off US Highway 4 in eastern Vermont. VINS stands for Vermont Institute of Natural Science, and its origins date back to 1970, when a water cleanup project for the Ottauquechee River began. This nature center has been open to the public since 2004. VINS serves as a rehabilitation center for injured birds of prey, a songbird aviary, and educational hub for anyone wanting to learn how to protect the environment. The surrounding acreage of forests and rolling hills offer scenic views for its visitors.

This facility is open daily, and its regular hours are 10 am to 5 pm. Admission rates are $18 for adults, $17 for college students and seniors (62+), $15 for youth (4-17), and free for children ages 0 to 3.
