Village Creek State Park is located in northern Arkansas, just west of Memphis, Tennessee. It features thousands of acres of rolling hills and secluded forests, over 30 miles of multi-use trails, campgrounds, cabins, two lakes, picnic areas, a golf course, tennis courts, and a visitor center. Feel free to swim at the swimming beach or rent a kayak from the visitor center (only available during the summertime) to enjoy time on the lake. This place is great for all types of campers, and it even has an equestrian campground for visitors that want to bring their horses to go horseback riding.
The visitor center is open year-round from 8 am to 5 pm every day of the week. Cabins, campgrounds, and picnic areas are also available year-round but the restrooms are only open from March to December. There are multiple hiking areas to choose from, including the Arboretum Trail, Big Ben Nature Trail, Lake Dunn Trail, and more.
