Lake Frierson State Park is located in northeastern Arkansas. It features a campground, picnic area, a hiking trail, and a fishing lake. Anyone can follow the Dogwood Lane Trail for an easy hike. This area is incredibly scenic during the spring when the trees are blooming. Lake Frierson has several fish, including bream, catfish, crappie, saugeye, and bass. If you want to stay for multiple days, this state park has seven campsites, four of which have water and electric hookups.
The visitor center is open daily from 8 am to 5 pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays from November to February. Inside the visitor center, you can look at nature exhibits and learn about the area from the staff members.
