Find peace in this natural setting filled with ponds and thousands of trees.
The Pine Hollow Arboretum is located just outside of Albany, New York. It encompasses over 20 acres of forest, fields, ponds, and swampland. There are two main trails, Tranquility Trail and Woodland Way. Tranquility Trail loops around Front Pond, past the magnolia field, through the chestnut grove, and back to the beginning. When you explore Woodland Way, you will notice even more ponds, a cypress swamp, a garden, and even a small waterfall.
This place is the ultimate nature lover's attraction. It has 11 ponds, over 3,600 trees and provides lots of bird watching opportunities for visitors. Please note that the trails may be muddy, so wear appropriate shoes. Leashed dogs are allowed on the trails, and the arboretum is open daily from sunrise to sunset. Admission is free for all guests; however, there are limited parking spots available. If you're searching for a place to get away from the busy city, come to Pine Hollow Arboretum.
