Tour this Federal-style mansion dating back to the late 1700s.
The Ten Broeck Mansion is located in Albany, New York and it was built in 1798. It was designed by architect Philip Hooker and has exquisite views of the Hudson River. Throughout the mansion, there are original furnishings, family portraits, a collection of ceramics, and more. Mansion tours are available from mid-May to mid-October at various times throughout the week. Each tour begins at the top of the hour, so please arrive early so you don't miss your scheduled one-hour tour.
Feel free to walk through the gardens before or after the tour. The four-acre garden area is open to the public from dawn to dusk from late March through early November. Leashed pets are welcome outside, but all owners must pick up after them to keep the garden clean. The Ten Broeck Mansion is a neat place to visit if you like sightseeing.
