Explore this natural wonder in the Adirondacks.
The Natural Stone Bridge & Caves is located off I-87 in upstate New York. This is the largest marble cave entrance on the east coast, and the area features an above-ground nature trail, surface caves, an old sawmill, and lighted caves. Along with self-guided tours of the natural stone bridge and caves, visitors can play on the 18-hole disc golf course, go gem mining (extra fee), or head to the climbing wall during their time here. Book one of their summer adventure tours if you're looking for a more exciting experience. These last about four hours and guide guests through four different caves, ending with everyone floating on a tube through Garnet Cave.
Summer park hours begin at 9 AM, and guests are encouraged to purchase tickets at least one day in advance. They offer adventure tours in July and August on Sundays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The registration price for the tour is $125 per person. If you're here for the regular self-guided tour, the trail is 3/4 of a mile long, and it takes most people roughly an hour to complete. If you're into hiking and exploring caves, you won't want to miss out on the Natural Stone Bridge & Caves in upstate New York.
