Make a visit to the North Pole in New York and explore Santa's village!

There’s no better place to get in the holiday spirit than Santa’s Workshop in Wilmington, New York. You’re actually transported straight to no place other than the North Pole once you arrive at the workshop. This is an amazing place for families with little ones! The park and its attractions were designed for those 48 inches and smaller, so kids are guaranteed to have a blast. The park opened in July of 1949, and little did they know that they were setting the precedent for what we know as theme parks today when they opened their doors. Santa’s Workshop has the mission to foster the special childlike imagination that’s within us all and to inspire others to see the magic that can be dreamt up.

Spend a day exploring the lovely Christmas Village and trying out the various rides and attractions. Ride Santa’s locomotive, his reindeer on the carousel, and the spinning ornaments on the Christmas tree! Depending on the season, there are also shows that go on that are a blast to see and events like Christmas in July and Dinner with Santa. The park is open during summer, fall, and winter with differing hours depending on when you plan to come. The park is of course the most magical during the winter when the Christmas magic is at an all-time high.
