Rochester Museum & Science Center

The Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC) is located in eastern Rochester, New York. It features a museum, science center, and planetarium. The museum has over 1.2 million objects on display among nearly two dozen exhibits. They often host live science demonstrations and events, so look at their website for current events. Head to the planetarium for a featured presentation about planets or dinosaurs. They also have a few exhibits on display at the planetarium.

A third attraction that is part of the RMSC is the Cumming Nature Center, located at 6472 Gulick Road Naples, NY 14512. Admission to the nature center is just $3 per person, and there are 15 miles of trails to explore within their 900-acre preserve. Admission rates for the science center and museum are $18 for adults, $17 for seniors and college students with their ID, and $16 for youth ages 3 to 18. The RMSC is open Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM and Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM. The on-site cafe is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 AM to 2 PM.
