Featuring caves, waterfalls, and scenic viewpoints, this place is an outdoor lover's dream. Start at the main building and browse through the gift shop or use the restrooms before your hike. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and purchase a ticket to hike the 1-mile gorge trail and take in the scenic landscape surrounding the area. The gorge trail is not ADA accessible and is a one-way-only trail with over 1,000 stairs. You can take up to two hours to complete the trail, which leads back to the main grounds and parking area.
The Lost River Gorge and Boulder Caves are open seasonally from May to October. General admission prices start at $22 when reserved in advance; however, visitors may also purchase same-day tickets depending on availability. It is open daily during the summer beginning at 9 am. Lost River Gorge and Boulder Caves are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in May, September, and October. If you love hiking, New Hampshire's Lost River Gorge, and Boulder Caves will certainly be worth your time.
