Brighton State Park is located in northeastern Vermont, situated on the shores of Spectacle Pond. This region was once a bustling place full of loggers, but it is now a secluded piece of land where many come to enjoy the great outdoors. Popular recreational activities include hiking, fishing, kayaking, camping, and observing wildlife. Brighton State Park features over 50 tent and RV campsites, 23 lean-to sites, and five cabins for guests wanting to extend their stay. You are also welcome to use the picnic area, playground, restrooms with running water, and coin-operated hot showers in the day-use area.
Unless you have reserved a campsite, this state park's regular daily hours are from 10 am to sunset. Brighton State Park is open seasonally from the end of May through early October. With myriad hiking trails, a swimming beach, and scenic natural surroundings, this is an excellent spot for a camping getaway with friends and family.
