Inner Space Cavern is located just off of Interstate 35 in Georgetown, Texas, which is north of Austin. This cave is one of the best-preserved ones found in Texas. It has been open to the public since 1966. Year-round, this cave remains at 72 degrees Fahrenheit, with humidity it can feel like it's 80 degrees. All guided tours require participants to walk for a mile on uneven surfaces, so you must be in good physical condition to see the Inner Space Cavern. Be aware that due to the nature of the cave, it is not wheelchair or stroller-friendly.
This attraction is open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm and 10 am to 5 pm on the weekends. Continue the adventure outside the cave by experiencing their thrilling Saber Tooth zipline. Saber Tooth is a tandem zip ride that can take up to two passengers. The minimum height requirement is 42 inches, and guests between 42 and 47 inches tall must be accompanied by an adult. There is no age limit, but the weight limit is 450 pounds for two passengers and 300 pounds for single riders.
