Come see over 500 different animal species at the Fort Worth Zoo.
The Fort Worth Zoo is a fun place for the whole family to see and learn about exotic animals. At its founding in 1909, the zoo only had one lion, two bear cubs, an alligator, a coyote, a peacock, and a few rabbits. Now, there are 542 different species of animals to discover.
This zoo is dedicated to promoting wildlife conservation. The best way that visitors can support their goal is to simply come to the zoo. There are events that they host throughout to teach visitors about the animals and their natural habitats. Open 365 days a year, this is a great place for all to come and spend quality family time together. If you go on a Wednesday, admission is half-price. They accept both cash and credit cards as forms of payment. Stroller rentals are available if you are bringing small children.
