Enjoy some family-friendly fun and make memories together at the zoo!
The zoo is open from 9 am to 5 pm and encourages guests to make their reservations ahead of time online. There are so many animals to see here. The Oklahoma City zoo takes care of several animals such as black bears, grizzly bears, leopards, tigers, jaguars, spider monkeys, gorillas, chimpanzees, elephants, zebras, giraffes, gazelles, lizards, tortoises, flamingos, sea lions, rhinos, and even butterflies. Don’t miss out on the Oklahoma Trails section of the zoo which has animals that are native to Oklahoma. There is also a 25-foot sized replica of Turner Falls that you can see in this part of the zoo. Take some time to learn more about animals and how we can help preserve the natural habitats where they live.
If you want to get up close and personal with some of the animals, you can purchase separate admission to feed either the flamingos, stingrays, rhinos, or giraffes. Other unique things you can do at the Oklahoma City zoo include taking a camel ride, watching a sea lion show, or interacting with lorikeet birds. Younger children will enjoy the carousel ride which is open from 10 am to 3 pm. There are several bathrooms available throughout the zoo as well as dining areas and pavilions for your convenience.
