A unique and usable piece of art, introducing a new experience for public restrooms.
What started out as a submission for an art contest has drawn tourists from all over to see this unique bathroom experience. Bathroom-goers can see people outside of the stall, but anyone who remains outside of the stall cannot see in. Sulphur Springs spent $54,000 on two simple bathroom stalls built entirely with one-way mirrors. They were placed downtown on a highly trafficked square. In order for the illusion to work, lighting must be brighter on the outside than it is on the inside, so the stalls are not lit. This is a fun and different bathroom that you have to see to believe.
