Philbrook Museum of Art

Admire the art and stroll through a 25-acre garden at this family-friendly attraction.

The Philbrook Museum of Art is located off of Interstate 244 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The multi-level museum displays art pieces from places like Africa and the American southwest and everything from classic Renaissance to Contemporary art. Guests can take self-guided tours or book a guided tour to see the art gallery inside the museum. Regular hours at the Philbrook are Wednesday through Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm, with extended hours on Fridays until 9 pm. General admission is $17 for adults, $6 for youth (ages 3-17), $14 for seniors, $14 for college students, $14 for veterans, and free for children 2 and under, active-duty military with ID, and college students from participating schools.

You can easily spend at least a couple of hours at the Philbrook Museum of Art, and it is a neat attraction for guests that enjoy art galleries. If you work up an appetite, feel free to stop by their restaurant, Kitchen 27, which is open from 10 am to 3 pm. Menu items include soups, salads, and sandwiches using fresh ingredients grown on-site from the Victory Garden. They also host Philbrook Festival Nights where the gardens are illuminated to help visitors celebrate the holidays. This special event is open from 5:30 to 9:30 pm on certain nights leading up to Christmas.
