The Oxley Nature Center is located northwest of the Tulsa International Airport in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This family-friendly attraction has been around since the 1970s, and it allows locals and tourists in Tulsa to reconnect with nature. Points of interest include the blackbird march, Lake Sherry, meadowlark prairie, fawn grove, and observation tower. This nature center is home to over 200 bird species, 50+ butterfly species, various reptiles, and mammals. Animals you may see include deer, raccoons, flying squirrels, beavers, skunks, and more.
With over 800 acres of space, there are countless opportunities for wildlife observation. The nature center has free admission for all visitors, and the hiking trails are accessible daily from 7 am to 9 pm. Their interpretive building is open daily except on Fridays.
