Arbor Day Farm is located in Nebraska City. This outdoor natural wonderland is made up of 260-acres of trees. Guests can climb up a 50-foot treehouse with a connecting netted bridge walkway to the treehouse village made up of 11 different treehouses. Learn more about the trees with an experienced tour guide and see woodland creatures along the way. Visitors often love the South Table Creek trails, which feature interactive exhibits, sensory experiences, and scenic vistas. You can also receive a free tree seed when visiting the Lied Greenhouse.
This is an ideal place to make memories with family and friends. Guests are welcome to extend their stay at the newly renovated hotel located on-site or rent an on-site pavilion or lodge. Another point of interest at the Arbor Day Farm is the 52-room mansion, which features historical artifacts dating back to 1872. Be sure to walk the Italian terrace garden to smell the lilacs, and continue following the paths towards the original log cabins and historic barns.
Arbor Day Farm is open year-round, seasonal hours may vary. If you come here in the spring, you can see the bees and blossom tour. The fall season brings an annual apple harvest event. Arbor Day Farm does allow dogs; however, only well-trained leashed pets are allowed on the grounds. The Arbor Day Farm is an exceptional place to make memories with family and friends.
