Armand Bayou Nature Center is located in Pasadena, Texas, about halfway between Houston and Galveston. This preserve encompasses over 2500-aces of wetlands, prairies, grasslands, and forests. Armand Bayou Nature Center is open Wednesday through Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm and Sunday from 12 pm to 5 pm. They recommend that all guests bring water, water-resistant shoes, hats, sunscreen, and insect repellent.
The Armand Bayou Nature Center allows visitors to learn about various ecosystems. This is an excellent place for a nature walk; it has five miles of well-maintained walking trails, the most popular one is the Discovery Loop. Other fun activities include kayak tours, pontoon boat cruises, family night hikes, summer camps, and guided photo hikes. If you're a bird enthusiast, keep an eye out for roseate spoonbills, great blue herons, ospreys, pelicans, and various songbirds. Guests of all ages can visit this beautiful nature center year-round.
