Let your children play and learn through the interactive exhibits at this children's museum.
The Duluth Children's Museum gives kids plenty of ways to stretch, climb, slide, and discover through its hands-on exhibits that explore science, technology, engineering, and math. Children love to explore the Adventure Treehouse, a giant indoor playground. There is also an Aviation Exploration where visitors can throttle a real Cirrus Airplane prototype and learn about flight. At the Peter Krafthefer Learning Lab kids can learn about plants, greenhouses, and gardens. Little Explorers is an area made for the youngest visitors to practice gross and fine motor skills. The STEM Stations feature moveable ramps and balls on a giant magnet wall and construction tables.
The Duluth Children's Museum is open Wednesday through Sunday from 9 AM to 4 PM. Admission rates are $7 per person, and kids under two are free to enter. The interactive exhibits and daily programming are perfect for young visitors to learn and grow by experimenting and trying new things.
