Stephens Lake Park

Take a pleasant stroll through this Missouri park and cool off at the lake.

Stephens Lake Park is situated on the east side of downtown Columbia, Missouri. It features a swimming beach, three playgrounds, an outdoor amphitheater, gardens, an open soccer practice field, and picnic areas. If you're in the mood for a walk, take the paved trails and explore their arboretum, which has several different tree collections. Guests can cool off at the lake from Memorial Day through Labor Day and anglers can fish on the east side of the boardwalk and take a non-motorized boat out on the water from the boat launch. Sometimes, they open the lake for people to go ice skating in the winter, and there's also a popular sledding hill within the park.

You can visit Stephens Lake Park anytime between 6 am and 11 pm. Leashed pets are allowed in the park, so feel free to bring your furry friends along with you. This beloved park has been around since the summer of 2005 and is a perfect place to spend quality time with friends and family.
