Spirit Mountain Recreation Area

Spirit Mountain Recreation Area is located In Duluth, Minnesota, and is surrounded by beautiful forests near Lake Superior. This Mountian Resort is open year-round. All guests are encouraged to check Mountain Message for updates on weather conditions, hours, and important updates that are always subject to change. Spirit Mountain is a popular destination for tubing, skiing, and snowboarding during the winter season. The summer season offers hiking, biking, camping, an 18-hole disc golf course, and more. The most popular attraction at Spirit Mountain is Adventure Park. Adventure Park has many thrilling summer attraction rides, such as the 3,200-foot timber twister coaster, a flyer zip ride, and lift rides. The Adventure Park also has a jumping pillow and a 9 hole mini-golf course as well.

Tickets, equipment rentals, and necessary information can be found at Skyline Chalet, which is open from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm. The Moosehead Saloon is a full restaurant and is open from 11 am to 6 pm. Their campground has 73 sites, 39 of which have full hookups available. Campers are welcome to set up camp in tents, RVs, and trailers. Please note that additional camping fees may apply. Campground amenities include fire pits, picnic tables, shower buildings, flush toilet bathrooms, and a dumpsite. Check-in time is 2 pm, check-out is at 12 pm, and quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am. The camp store is open for guests and it sells wood, camping essentials, clothing, souvenirs, and snacks.
