The Arbor Hill Grapery & Winery is located southeast of Rochester, New York, near Canandaigua Lake. It has been around since the 1980s and encompasses several buildings, including an on-site wine cellar and a restaurant. Brew & Brats is the restaurant housed inside a carriage barn that serves up local craft beers, wine varieties, grape pie, and homemade brats. Come for dinner on Friday or Saturday (May through October) and enjoy their live music inside the restaurant. Brews & Brats is open Monday through Thursday from 12 pm to 5 pm, Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 9 pm, and Sunday from 11 am to 7 pm.
A perfect time of year to visit this winery is at the end of September, when the town hosts an annual Grape Festival. You have to try the famous Naples grape pie before you go; it is bursting with flavor and can't be beaten. Wine tastings are available via online reservation any day of the week. Arbor Hill sells over 20 varieties of wine, including Moscato, Chardonnay, Aromella, Traminette, and more.
