Willow River State Park is located in northwestern Wisconsin and has a stunning natural feature called Willow Falls. Along with the falls, there are miles of hiking trails to explore, a nature center, campsites, and a lake, providing countless recreational opportunities. If you visit during the day, feel free to bring a picnic lunch with you. The state park's picnic area is near the nature center, 2-miles west of the main park entrance. Inside the nature center, you can learn about reptiles and participate in interactive, hands-on exhibits.
Little Falls Lake has a beach with another large picnic area with tables and grills, plus a grassy area where you can play frisbee or soccer. The lake has a boat launch, and it is one of the most popular places in Wisconsin. With 120 available campsites, you can easily plan a camping trip here to get the most out of your visit.
