Enjoy fun in the sun at one of Missouri's largest lakes.
This state park offers various outdoor recreation, including camping, hiking, swimming, fishing, and more. The park is open from sunrise until 30 minutes after sunset. Boat ramps are open from early March to the end of October, and the beach is available from Memorial Day to Labor Day annually. Lake of the Ozarks State Park is perfect for large gatherings and camping trips. Bring your hiking boots and explore the hiking trails nearby. Several of these trails are interconnected, and some are ADA accessible.
If you're interested in caves, the Ozark Caverns are located at the southern end of the State Park, and they are open for public tours. Cave-dwelling creatures such as bats and salamanders call this place home, and you may be able to see them crawling past you during the guided tour. Each tour lasts about an hour and is about a half a mile round-trip. No matter what recreational activities you want to do, fun is in store at Missouri's Lake of the Ozarks State Park.
