Take a hike overlooking the capital of Arkansas.
Located West of Interstate 430, this state park offers plenty of outdoor recreation such as hiking, mountain biking, geocaching, fishing, and canoeing. There are several hiking trails to choose from, but the most popular is the West Summit Trail which takes you to the top of Pinnacle Mountain.
A nearby visitor center is open to the public year-round from 8 am to 5 pm. If you want to bring a picnic lunch with you, there are plenty of picnic tables to sit and enjoy a meal. The park closes one hour after sunset, so please plan ahead and don’t venture too far out when it gets closer to sunset. Take in the bird’s eye view of the valley below and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature at Pinnacle Mountain State Park in Little Rock, Arkansas.
