Visit the most prominent art and history museum in the northern New England region.
The Shelburne Museum is just 10 minutes south of Burlington, Vermont, and encompasses a 45-acre campus. This vast museum features 39 different buildings, many of which are historic buildings that were relocated to the site. Major attractions include the Round Barn, steamboat, and carousel. Guests are also welcome to explore the 22 different outdoor gardens at the Shelburne. Among their collections are famous American paintings, folk art, decorative pieces, horse-drawn vehicles, textiles, and more.
This museum is open seasonally from mid-May through mid-October. Regular museum hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. The Shelburne is also open on Monday holidays. Admission rates are $25 for adults, $23 for seniors, $14 for teenagers, and $12 for children ages 5 - 12. Enjoy an immersive art collection at Vermont's Shelburne Museum.
