Explore historic ships and see neat exhibits that tell the story of seafarers from a bygone era.
Mystic Seaport Museum is located in southeastern Connecticut. This interactive museum features a recreated seaport village, several historic vessels, galleries, exhibits, and everything related to seafaring. If your children need to get their energy out, go to the outdoor playscape area that features tug boats that are just their size. If you want to ride a real ship, the museum also offers 25-minute boat rides for a small fee.
Museum hours are 10 am to 5 pm daily from May 1 - October 31 and Thursday through Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm from November 1 - December 31. It is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Children three and younger have free admission, and regular admission prices range from $19 to $26 per person. Tickets purchased during the last hour of the day get half off, and the grounds are open until one hour after the ticket booth closes. Explore the Mystic Seaport Museum with your friends and family today.
