Killens Pond State Park is located in central Delaware and is open daily from 8 am to sunset. It encompasses 66 acres and many visitors enjoy fishing, hiking, camping, kayaking, and swimming at the waterpark. Enjoy a nature walk along the Pondside Trail. Birds you may see include bald eagles, woodpeckers, barred owls, and scarlet tanagers. Anglers can expect to catch largemouth bass, crappie, catfish, carp, or even bluegills at the pond. Please note that an active Delaware state fishing license is required to fish at Killens Pond State Park.

The waterpark portion of this state park is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day and offers group tickets that can be purchased online or in person. If you want to plan a camping trip here, the campgrounds are available year-round and they can accommodate both tents and RVs, with electric and water hookups for RV campers. They also have cabins that can sleep up to four people, plus a roomy cottage overlooking the pond.
