Enjoy a sunset stroll along the path that goes by the cost.
The Ke Ala Hele Makalae Path is just over 7-miles long and is a perfect place for a bike ride or stroll. Located on the eastern part of Hawaii's northern island of Kauai, this beautiful path provides plenty of photo opportunities and stunning ocean views. It is paved and relatively flat, so even young children can enjoy their time exploring the path. Guests are welcome to read the signs which tell about local historical sites located near the path.
At the southern part of the trail by Lydgate Beach Park, parking spots and restrooms are available. Kapaa Beach Park is near the northern end of the path, and parking is available there as well. If you're here anytime between December and March, you may also be lucky enough to spot a whale in the distance as you explore the path. Enjoy one of the best free attractions in Hawaii at the breathtaking Ke Ala Hele Makalae Path.
