Hurricane Alley Waterpark is a great place to spend a fun-filled summer day.
This family-friendly waterpark features a flow rider (surfing machine), water slides, a wave pool, a lazy river, and a splash pad area. Locker rentals are available for guests to keep their personal belongings safe. Tubes and life jackets for children are also available for rental. Arm floats and inflatables from home are not allowed, so plan on renting what you need when you arrive. The park has many attentive lifeguards on duty, but always keep an eye on your children. You might want to wear water shoes due to the hot pavement; however, water shoes must be removed when going down the slides.
There is a shady poolside bar for adults with a big-screen TV. In the park, there are great views of the Harbor Bridge and Whataburger Baseball Field nearby. Prices are best when you enter before noon and if you come on the weekdays. Plan on purchasing your drinks and food inside the park or visit the area just outside to have a picnic where several tables are available. Hurricane Alley Waterpark is open Saturdays and Sundays in April from 11 am to 8 pm. It is open 7 days a week from June to August, with dine-in movie nights on Tuesdays all summer long. Come and enjoy your time at the Hurricane Alley Waterpark this summer!
