See military and aviation artifacts plus historic aircraft inside this museum.
The Arkansas Air and Military Museum is located in southern Fayetteville, Arkansas. Explore the golden age of aviation and learn about modern jets as you venture through the museum. Many of the historic aircraft on display still fly, which is unusual for most aviation museums. Another thing that makes this place unique is its military history. It used to be the headquarters of one of the U.S. aviator training facilities during the WWll era.
The Arkansas Air and Military Museum has been around since 1986 and is a great museum to visit if you enjoy learning about military history. You can see the museum Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am to 4 pm. Children ages five and under have free admission. School-aged kids require a $5 admission fee, and adult tickets are $10. Group tours are also available upon request for groups with 12 or more people. If you're driving through northwestern Arkansas, be sure to stop by this air and military museum.
