Queen Wilhelmina State Park is located in western Arkansas off of State Highway 88. This state park is situated on Rich Mountain and was named after the Queen of the Netherlands. You will want to bring a camera with you because the views are incredibly breathtaking. Queen Wilhelmina State Park is open year-round and has several hiking trails. Lovers' Leap Trail is the most picturesque and has an overlook area where you can see the Ouachita mountains and forest.
Feel free to come here for a camping trip. There are 41 campsites to choose from, and there is also a lodge if you don't want to stay outdoors. The lodge has cozy accommodations and provides all of the modern conveniences. There are 40 rooms available and it is a great place to stay if you need to spend a night in the area. If you don't have enough time to explore, you should at least drive along the Talimena National Scenic Byway to get a glimpse of the park.
