Enjoy the lake, miles of hiking trails, and tranquility in Devils Den State Park.
Devils Den State Park is located in northwestern Arkansas in Lee Creek Valley. The most iconic features within the park are its rock formations, caves, and the 8-acre lake. Many visitors enjoy participating in various water sports and fishing on Lake Devil, and there are countless hiking trails to explore. Many of the hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding trails eventually lead to the Ozark National Forest on the east side. Mountain bikers will love riding through the Fossil Flats and Devil's Racetrack Trails. Come in the spring for their annual Ozark Mountain Bike Festival to enjoy the sights with fellow mountain bikers.
The day-use area has a large pavilion, playground, picnic tables, and restrooms available for guests. Reservations for the pavilion can be made in advance by calling the state park's office. Consider booking a cabin, primitive tent campground, RV site, or horse camp for an extended stay. They have both full-service cabins with TVs and kitchens and rustic camper cabins. Guests who come camping are also welcome to use the pool, which is open seasonally (Memorial Day through Labor Day) Wednesday through Sunday from 12 pm to 6 pm. Visit Arkansas on your next family camping trip.
