Take a walk through bible scenes in this interesting museum.
The Valtiroty Bible Land Park takes visitors on a path through various bible scenes from the Bible Hebrew Tabernacle model. Don't miss out on the Emblems of the Twelve Tribes of Israel, Tables of the Law, Bedouin tent, Abraham's well, and the Ark of the Covenant. They have authentic samples of rocks, wood, sand, clay, water, etc., from the middle eastern regions. Amazingly, some of these samples are over 3,5000 years old. It is very creative, with many different scriptures portrayed by props and displays. The owners have items that they have collected from the Holy Land.
Regardless of your religious affiliation, this is an intriguing museum. Music is played while visitors walk through the dimly lit pathways, and the signage explains the scenes that are depicted. The gift store sells things like humorous religious t-shirts and other knick-knacks. The owners are very knowledgeable about the bible and its history and will have conversations with anyone that would like to engage with them. Nothing is pushed on the visitors, only offered. Take a free tour through this informative museum the next time you visit South Dakota.
