Reflect on the essence of the United States and its origins at the Rockwell Museum.
The Rockwell Museum is located in downtown Corning, New York, inside the historic old city hall. It features a collection of 19th-century American paintings, historic bronzes, Native American objects, twentieth-century modernists, illustration art, and contemporary photography. Most visitors do a self-guided tour, but guided one-hour tours (with groups of 10+ people) are also available if booked in advance.
Regular museum hours are 9 AM to 5 PM, and it is open until 7 PM from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Admission rates are $11.50 for adults, $10.50 for seniors (62+), $5.50 for college students with an ID, and free for anyone under 18. You can also purchase a combination ticket if you want to visit the Corning Museum of Glass. They have a shuttle service that takes guests to and from both of these museums. Stop by the gift shop for some souvenirs before you go. If you like art and history, visit the Rockwell Museum in upstate New York.
