Visit a unique collection of natural art in this quaint town.
Lincoln, Montana, has historically been a town centered around the timber and mining industries. Since the decline of these industries in recent years, a team of artists worldwide has come to create stunning sculpture artwork using the natural resources in the nearby wooded area. The Blackfoot Pathways Sculpture in the Wild aims to educate the community to protect and preserve the environment in positive ways. Kevin O’Dwyer, a cofounder of the project, helped establish it back in 2014 and also created an on-site education program to encourage and inspire young local artists.
This is a unique sculpture park that is free and open to the public from dawn to dusk. Leashed dogs are allowed inside the park. Explore the giant sculptures handcrafted by several Montana residents and others who collaborated and participated in this ongoing project. Located just off Highway 200, this spot in Western Montana is a place you won’t want to miss. Donations are always welcomed if you want to support the Blackfoot Pathways.
