Come to this gorgeous mansion featuring Romanesque Revival Victorian architecture.
The Copper King Mansion is a 34-room mansion fashioned after Romanesque Revival Victorian-style architecture. There are beautiful chandeliers, hand-carved fireplaces, and elegant stained glass windows located throughout this mansion. It underwent restoration in 2011 and is a sight to behold.
This was the home to one of the famous “copper kings” named William Andrews Clark. He did business with the copper mines, smelting factories, railroads, and more during his time. Clark is one of three very successful businessmen who were part of the copper mining industry in Montana.
The Copper King Mansion is now an operating bed and breakfast for those who want to stay in this historic building. There are guided tours available during the summer from 10 am to 4 pm for visitors to look around and get an up-close look at this majestic work of art. Winter tours require an appointment. Admission prices range from $5 for children and $10 for adults. You can also host special events and rent out the entire first floor of the mansion.
