Take a lovely afternoon stroll in downtown Idaho Falls.
The Idaho Falls River Walk is a pleasant walk located on the Greenbelt Trail in downtown Idaho Falls. There are a number of geese and ducks that spend their days sunning themselves on the lawn near the river. Visitors are welcome to feed these birds, but be respectful since they are wild animals. There are also benches and picnic tables for people to sit down and enjoy a meal by the river.
Various shops and restaurants line the outer edge of the riverwalk. You can spend a leisurely afternoon and do some window shopping or stop in for a meal during your walk. This trail leads you right by the Idaho Falls Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. On the temple grounds, there are beautifully decorated flower beds and a visitor center for anyone to take a look around. There will be people inside the center who can answer any questions you may have.
The Idaho Falls River Walk is a pleasant spot to spend a few hours of the day. If you need a place to stretch your legs as you’re driving through Idaho, feel free to come by Idaho Falls.
