Look at historic airplanes up close and personal.
The Legacy Flight Museum has been open since 2006 and is filled with planes and other aircraft that veterans flew during their service for the United States Military. Some of the aircraft featured here include a rebuilt P-51 Mustang called the “Mormon Mustang”, SNB-5 Beechcraft, Duplex-Cyclone Engine, Boeing Stearman, and a Grumman S-2 Tracker.
You can see each aircraft up close and learn about the history behind these planes. In the summertime, the Legacy Flight Museum puts on a public air show in Rexburg, Idaho. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, they are open Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm. The fall and winter months have minimal hours; however, you can call to make an appointment for your group to visit.
