Henry's Lake State Park

Henry’s Lake is one of Idaho’s well known great lakes and is a paradise for all fishermen. There are huge fish to catch here if you’re an experienced fisherman. Many fish live in the lake, such as cutthroat, brook, and cut-bow hybrid trout. This lake also provides an excellent spot to enjoy all kinds of water sports like boating, water skiing, swimming, kayaking, and canoeing. You can visit Henry’s Lake longer than a day because there are places to camp or park motorhomes. If you want to rent a cabin in the lake’s homesteaded area, that is also available.

Check out the gorgeous view of Sawtell Mountain, located right next to Henry’s Lake. There are many ATV and snowmobile trails in these mountain ranges where one could easily spend weeks and never be bored. Visitors will also find many opportunities to see different animals like deer, elk, waterfowl, and other small creatures that nest close to the lake for food. A bonus to being at Henry’s Lake is that you are a thirty-minute drive away from Yellowstone National Park and Ennis, Montana, where your adventure can continue.
