The Morro Bay Maritime Museum is located in Morro Bay, California. It was founded by Brent Roberts in the 1990s and a non-profit organization has been in charge of the museum since the beginning. This museum features a small fleet of boats and ships, including The Alma (a tug boat built in 1927), a deep submergence rescue vehicle, a US Coast Guard surf rescue boat, and more. A unique ship you will see is the Spindrift, a 1933 Monterey-style fishing boat commonly used for California's industrial fishing industry between the 1920s and 1960s.
Regular museum hours are Friday through Monday from 10 am to 2 pm. Guests can also reserve a time to attend Tuesday through Thursday by calling 602-526-4367.
