The San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden is located about eight miles east of Morro Bay, California, off State Highway 1 in the El Chorro Regional Park. They exclusively grow plants from the five Mediterranean climates and currently feature 10 acres of manicured garden space. There are a few small benches to sit and relax at, and it takes about an hour to walk throughout the entire garden. Feel free to stay as long as you want and soak in the beauty of this botanical garden.
This botanical garden is open daily from sunrise to sunset, and they also have a gift shop on-site open daily from 9 am to 5 pm. Admission rates are $10 per adult, $8 for senior citizens, and free for children 12 and younger. Leashed dogs are also welcome to the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden. Be aware that there is also a $3 parking fee between April and September.
