Fresno Chaffee Zoo

The Fresno Chaffee zoo is one of the biggest zoos in central California. It has been open for over 90 years, and you will find over 200 species of animals when you visit. This zoo has grown over the years and has established brand new exhibits in recent years, including a sea lion cove and an African adventure area. The admission price is $8.95 for children ages 2-11 and $14.95 for adults. Admission allows you to experience everything in the park, except for the stingray bays. However, you can pay an additional $2 to pet the stingrays.

There is always lots to see at the zoo. Some of the most popular exhibits include the African adventure, sea lion cove, kangaroo walkthrough, and the bird show. The African adventure includes 13 acres of land that allows many animals like lions, giraffes, and elephants to graze. If you want to feed the giraffes, you can pay a little bit extra for this experience. The bird show has been around for a long time, and during the show, live birds are flying overhead and sometimes flying towards you. There is so much to discover at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo.
