Located southwest of St. Louis, this state park is a great place to gather with family and friends. It has 7 different hiking trails to explore and features a river that is perfect for swimming, fishing, and canoeing adventures. Meramec State Park is open daily. April to October, hours are 7 am to 10 pm daily and November to March the park remains open from 7 am to 9 pm. Fisher Cave hours vary, but you may take a guided tour of the cave during the summer months. It offers primitive tent campsites, RV sites, and cabins for outdoor enthusiasts.
Reservations can be made online up to one year in advance. They have electric, water, and sewer hookups for RVs plus showers and restrooms at each camp area.
