Tour this majestic plantation built in 1856.
The Brandon Hall Plantation is located in southwestern Mississippi. It is quite a fancy antebellum period home and offers overnight bed and breakfast accommodations for visitors throughout the year. There are only five guest rooms, so it is best to book your stay at this historic plantation in advance. All the rooms have their own private bathroom. Check-in time is no earlier than 3 pm. A self-guided tour of the home is included in your stay.
If you want to come and tour this place but not stay overnight, you have to come during the annual spring or fall pilgrimage to see Brandon Hall and over 20 other historic plantations in the area. Brandon Hall Plantation does not offer regular tour times throughout the year. Along with the historic home, you can explore the property and enjoy the terraced garden and gazebo, the pond, and cottages.
