Camp at this premier resort in northwestern Washington.
The Log Cabin Resort is situated by Lake Crescent in Olympic National Park. Guests can book a lodge room, camper cabin, rustic cabin, full hookup RV site, or regular tent campsite at this resort. The regular camping season runs from the end of May through most of September. This is an excellent spot for birding enthusiasts. Some common species include woodpeckers, chickadees, pelicans, and dark-eyed juncos. Popular local attractions you can visit are Hurricane Ridge, Olympic Peninsula Waterfall Trail, Ruby Beach, and the Sol Duc Hot Springs.
Guests can check in at 4 PM the day they arrive, and they must check out by 11 AM on the last day of their stay. Please note that dogs are only allowed in camper cabins (they must remain leashed outside), and there is an additional $25 fee per pet. If you need a bite to eat, stop by the Sunnyside Cafe at the resort (reservations are not required, but you can make a reservation at the front desk). They serve daily breakfast (8 AM to 11 AM), lunch (11:30 AM to 2 PM), and dinner (4 PM to 8 PM).
